New Project: your first AI visibility result in five steps
From entering your website to seeing real ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini answers: Enter site → Scanning → Prompts → Analyzing → Results. What to fill in at each step, what the system does, and how to read the result.
What this page is for
It turns "is AI recommending me?" into something you can answer right away. Enter your website; the system reads your business, writes the questions customers ask AI in each market’s language, actually asks the engines, shows your mention rate and gaps, and saves everything as a project.
When to use it
- The first time you use the product (an account with no project is sent here from other pages).
- When you work for several clients or brands: one project per client.
- When one company has several brands or separate sites: one project each. Integrations, prompts and scan results are kept separate per project.
The page
Progress across the top: Enter site → Scanning → Prompts → Analyzing → Results.
Step 1: Enter site
- Website URL: your main site’s homepage.
- Brand Name: exactly what AI answers would call you.
- Business description (optional): filled in automatically from your site; edit it, or click Re-analyze.
- Markets to monitor: at least one. Click Add your first market, then in the Add market dialog choose Country (required — every market has a country, because engines answer from a country), Language (follows the country, can be changed) and Cities (optional), written in that market’s language. The first market carries the PRIMARY badge.
- The note below reminds you that AI answers differently by language: pick the language your customers actually use.
- Click Start Analysis →.
Step 2: Scanning
Automatic: resolve the domain, fetch the homepage HTML, extract metadata and brand signals, summarize business topics. If fetching fails, it does not get stuck; it moves on.
Step 3: Prompts
First, What we understood about {your brand}: check What you offer, Who buys it, Themes customers ask AI about (3–6 themes; remove anything that is not your business, add what is missing) and Competitors. Then click Looks right — generate prompts →.
Next, Review Prompts. Prompts are grouped by market and theme and written in each market’s language: 10 for one market, 8 each for two or three markets, and with more markets they share 30 (at least 4 each). Each prompt shows its source (Search Console, Autocomplete, People Also Ask or AI). Click a prompt to rewrite it, Regenerate this prompt, or delete it; Add prompt adds your own. ← Adjust themes goes back to the profile. When the list is right, click Run Analysis →.
Step 4: Analyzing
Titled Querying AI models. This step sends the prompts to ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini; each shows Waiting, Querying or Done.
Step 5: Results
- Brand mention rate: the share of answers you appear in, tagged Good visibility, Needs work or Low visibility.
- Models tested and the number of prompts.
- AI Citation Analysis: the sites AI cited most often, which are your likely competitors in AI answers.
- Tested Prompts — Brand Mention Check: whether each question mentioned you in each model.
- Topics & Prompts Ready to Monitor: grouped by market.
- Click Create Project & Start Monitoring →.
Common tasks
Where you go after creating the project
You see Project created successfully! and are taken to Prompt Tracking, where the new prompts are already queued for checking on the engines your plan includes.
Add another market later
Use Add market in the Workspace filter bar, or + Add markets on the My Prompts tab in the Prompt Library.
Number of projects
Each plan has a project limit. When you reach it, creating a project asks you to upgrade. Deleting a project you no longer need frees a slot.
Common questions
My site can’t be read. Sites behind a login or with bot protection can’t be fetched. Write two sentences in Business description yourself: what you do, who you sell to, and your key strengths.
The prompts don’t sound like my customers. Fix the themes in the profile first: prompts are written per theme, so accurate themes give realistic prompts. In Review Prompts you can rewrite or delete any prompt. After the project is created, add more in the Prompt Library from real search data.
Step 4 only tested 3 engines. Yes, the first check uses ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini. After the project is created, Prompt Tracking checks every engine your plan includes.
Can I change the brand name or URL? Yes, in the project settings. Markets and prompts can be changed any time in the Prompt Library.
If something goes wrong
- Please enter a URL, Brand name is required, or the markets area shakes: that field is empty.
- Could not build the profile.: click Retry.
- Stuck on Analyzing for a long time: refresh and run it again; an engine usually timed out.
- Project limit reached: delete a project you no longer use, or upgrade.
