Prompt Library: collect the questions customers really ask AI
Find, expand, import and manage the prompts you track: how the Discover, My Prompts, Quick Test, Bulk Upload and Coverage tabs work, and how prompts use credits.
What this page is for
You only see what you track. The Prompt Library finds the questions worth tracking (from real search demand, from seed terms, from competitor pages), manages your tracked list and markets, and shows whether your prompts cover every buying stage, topic and customer role.
When to use it
- After creating a project, to grow the generated prompts into a representative set.
- When a group of customer questions (a city, a competitor comparison) isn’t covered.
- After adding a market that needs prompts in its language.
The page
Five tabs: Discover (default), My Prompts, Quick Test, Bulk Upload and Coverage.
Discover
- Import from real search demand: pick the market language under Language: first. Five source buttons each open a dialog: Import from Search Console (your real Google Search Console queries, ranked by clicks), Expand more (PAA · autocomplete) (fan seed terms out through People Also Ask and autocomplete), Keywords → prompts (rewrite short keywords as conversational questions), Reverse-engineer a URL (paste a competitor page; AI infers the prompts it is positioned to win) and Reddit / forum questions. Tick what you want and click Add to tracking (n).
- Three add cards: Generate from project (choose a market, then Confirm & generate a batch of candidates), Expand from tracked (Choose tracked prompt as the seed, then Confirm & expand) and Custom seed (enter one prompt and Add & expand it into around 10 related prompts).
- Browse prompts: the candidate pool. The header shows how many candidates are available. Search, and filter by source (All / AI / Templates) and All categories. Tick candidates and use the add button at the bottom; your credit balance must cover the new prompts' first check (see below). Deleting candidates only removes them from the pool and never touches tracked prompts.
My Prompts
Your tracked list. The header shows how many prompts you track; market chips switch markets, with + Add markets at the end. Under each market, prompts are grouped as Brand, Competitor, City and General. Generate prompts on a group first opens Review generated prompts so you can untick or edit lines; generating them costs nothing; the prompts you add are scanned and use credits. Each row has Edit tags, Pause tracking (keeps history), Set type and Delete; expand it to set Scan frequency (Daily / Weekly / Monthly). Batch add pastes many prompts at once.
Quick Test
Type a prompt, choose models, click Run test, and see ✓ Mentioned / ✕ Not mentioned per engine, whether you were cited, and your rank. Use it to check one sentence; to track it, add it under My Prompts.
Bulk Upload
The top is the Google Search Console import panel; below it, file upload: CSV or TXT, one prompt per line. For multi-column CSVs only the first column is read, a keyword / prompt header row is skipped, and duplicates are removed. Check the preview and click Import; the result shows how many were imported and how many duplicates were skipped.
Coverage
Shows whether your prompt set covers what customers ask, so gaps don’t hide in your numbers.
- Coverage confidence by Buying stage, Topic or Customer role: for each group, the number of Prompts, AI answers, the share that Mention you with a 95% interval, and Confidence: Enough (at least 5 prompts and 30 answers), Few or None.
- Add prompts on a group suggests 5 prompts for it; click Track on the ones you want.
- Topics and customer roles are grouped by AI the first time you open the tab; change them with Edit groups or Regroup.
- Prompt variants: New variant group → Choose a tracked prompt → Write variants (Casual / Specific / Comparison / Rephrase) → track the ones you want. The group shows the Recommended probability across all phrasings. Variants are scanned and use credits like any prompt.
- Demand shows Observed (Search Console impressions over 90 days) when there is data, and "—" otherwise.
- Prompt opportunity score ranks prompts by Demand × Buying intent × Gap × Competition × Revenue potential.
Common tasks
Give a new market its prompts
- My Prompts → + Add markets: choose the country, language and engines, then type prompts, import from Search Console or generate them. Check them and confirm.
- The prompts go into My Prompts and Prompt Tracking and are scanned automatically.
- Back on Discover, switch Language: to that market and add more with Import from Search Console or Generate from project.
Import real search queries from Search Console
- Connect Google Search Console under Integrations first.
- Discover → Import from Search Console, narrow down with Questions only and Striking distance (5-20), tick queries and add them.
Find and fill a coverage gap
- Open Coverage and switch between Buying stage, Topic and Customer role.
- Look for Few or None.
- Click Add prompts on that row and Track the suggestions that fit.
Manage markets
A market can only be removed when it has no prompts, and the primary market can’t be removed. From the markets and engines settings you can also choose which engines scan each market.
Common questions
Is there a limit on prompts? No. No plan limits how many prompts you track. Each scan is billed in credits per prompt and engine, so remove low-value prompts or set them to Monthly.
"Not enough credits to add prompts"? Your balance doesn't cover the new prompts' first check, so nothing was added. Top up in the dialog and add them again, or add fewer.
Generated prompts are off-topic. Generation uses the project’s business description and competitor names. The Competitor group needs at least one competitor in the project settings; otherwise you are asked to add one first.
I can’t set Daily. Daily scanning has a per-plan limit on how many prompts can use it. Set other prompts to Weekly or Monthly, or upgrade.
If something goes wrong
- No valid prompts detected in the file.: check that the file has one prompt per line and is UTF-8.
- Google Search Console isn’t connected: go to Integrations → Google Search Console and connect it.
- Failed to add prompt. Please try again.: usually a network issue. Refresh and retry; prompts that were already added are not duplicated.
