Answer Assets: write the article AI wants to cite for one question
The Generate New, Optimize Existing and Drafts & history tabs, how to choose prompts and content type, quick generation versus AI-agent deep research, credits, and common errors.
What this page is for
Pick a tracked prompt where you aren’t recommended yet, and the system writes to match how AI engines cite: clear structure, quotable paragraphs, an FAQ and structured data. Generated articles go straight to Content, where you review, edit and publish them.
When to use it
- A prompt in Prompt Tracking has low coverage and you want an article for it.
- You already have an article and want to optimize it for AI answers.
- Context issue prompts in Prompt Tracking need one clarification article.
The page
The title is Answer Asset Builder. Three tabs: ✦ Generate New, ⚡ Optimize Existing and ◷ Drafts & history.
Generate New / Optimize Existing
- Basics: Brand Name is fixed to the current project. The prompts box takes several lines; Pick from tracked prompts (N) lets you select several, one per line, showing how many articles each already has and its coverage. Optimize Existing adds Paste Your Existing Content, and the prompt becomes an optional Topic Hint.
- Outline: appears only when you arrive with a brief or outline from another page.
- Content type: chosen from the topic (Standard article, FAQ-heavy article, Comparison, Listicle, How-to guide); Change type to switch. Below it, Article language (by default, from the prompts).
- Command bar: shows Ready and the credit cost for this article, with ✨ Generate Content on the right.
Two ways to generate
- Quick generation: used for most topics. After ✨ Generate Content, a notice shows the article is being generated; you can close it and find the article in Content when it’s done.
- AI agent · deep research: turned on automatically when the content type is Comparison or Listicle and you have chosen 3 to 15 prompts; the command bar shows 🔎 AI agent · deep research. It takes about 3 to 5 minutes; the panel shows each agent’s progress (researcher → strategist → writer → SEO → headline → review). Close — keeps running hides the panel without stopping it; when it finishes you are taken to Content. Cancel really stops it.
Drafts & history

Common tasks
Generate an article
- Generate New → Pick from tracked prompts → tick a low-coverage prompt.
- Check the content type; Change type if needed.
- Click ✨ Generate Content. Articles are billed in credits; the cost is shown before you start.
- When it’s done, open the article in Content, check it, edit it and click Publish Now.
Write a comparison or "best of" list
Choose Comparison or Listicle and select 3 to 15 related prompts from your tracked prompts. Deep research runs automatically and checks each competitor fact against the competitor’s own website, leaving a gap rather than guessing.
Optimize an existing article
⚡ Optimize Existing → paste the original under Paste Your Existing Content → optionally fill in Topic Hint → ✨ Generate Content.
Common questions
It says "Business info is missing". Business info is required; click Fill in business info in the dialog.
It says "Not enough credits". Every article is paid from your credit balance (Answer Assets, strategy articles and Autopilot share one balance). Top up on the API keys & credits page, or turn on auto top-up, then continue.
"This project already has an article generating". A project runs one deep-research article at a time. Wait for it to finish, or manage it in Content.
Why doesn’t the article appear on this page? By design: all articles go to Content, which has editing, AI edit, the cover image, publishing and the publishing log.
If something goes wrong
- AI-agent generation needs 3–15 prompts: select at least 3 tracked prompts.
- "Your plan does not include AI-agent generation": deep research needs Starter or higher.
- Rate limit, overloaded or timed out: wait a minute and retry, or shorten the topic.
- Not enough credits: top up on the API keys & credits page.
