Three Ways to Generate Content: Answer Assets, Strategy Articles and Autopilot
Which generator to use when: Answer Assets for one question (quick or deep research), Strategy Article for a cluster of tracked prompts, Autopilot for scheduled daily generation. All three land in Content for review.
Three entry points
| Answer Assets | Strategy article | Autopilot | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where | Answer Assets page | Prompt Tracking → Generate strategy article | Prompt Tracking → Autopilot toggle |
| Input | One prompt (or several lines), or pasted content to optimize | 3 to 15 related tracked prompts | Uncovered prompts it picks itself |
| Pipeline | Quick draft; comparisons and listicles use deep research | Quick (one article per angle) or deep research (one flagship article) | Scheduled cluster generation, once a day |
| Output | Content | Content | Content, waiting for your review |
Whichever way you come in, the article appears in Content with a source badge (Answer Assets, Strategy article · full / quick, Autopilot). Nothing is published until you click publish. Prompt-gap and competitor-ahead tasks in This week’s tasks and in the AI Assistant’s weekly plan also have a Write article button that opens Answer Assets.
Answer Assets
Pick one tracked prompt (or type one), keep the auto-selected content type (standard article, FAQ-dense, comparison, listicle, how-to) or change it, and click Generate. Comparison and listicle types with 3 to 15 prompts switch automatically to the deep-research agent, which researches on the web and checks competitor facts against their official sites. Everything else is a quick draft. Paste an existing article into Optimize existing to rewrite it for AI citation.
Strategy article
In Prompt Tracking tick prompts from the same market and topic, or let AI pick a cluster. Adjust the list (untick, or add a new prompt, which also enters tracking), choose angles (comparison / listicle, tutorial, deep guide, concept explainer) and generate. Comparison and listicle angles always use deep research and need 3 to 15 prompts. If the topics are too far apart a consistency check appears and offers to drop outliers.
Autopilot
Turn on Autopilot in Prompt Tracking. Citadex then generates strategy articles for uncovered prompts every day at the time shown in the confirmation dialog. Every draft waits for your review in Content before it is published, on every plan. Autopilot and manual Generate strategy article are mutually exclusive on a project so the same prompts are not written twice.
| Plan | Autopilot |
|---|---|
| Free, Pro | 1 project |
| Business | 5 projects |
Own-blog and platform versions
Each article is generated by angle as an own-blog version (the brand may appear naturally, up to about four times) or a platform version (brand two to four times, every figure sourced): comparison, listicle and FAQ angles produce platform versions; guides and tutorials produce own-blog versions. The badge in the Content list tells you which. Developer-community platforms reject promotional posts, so use the platform version there.
Credits
All three generators charge credits per article; there is no monthly article count. AI-agent deep research runs web research and several review passes, so it uses more credits per article than a single-pass article. The credits needed are shown before generation starts; if your balance is short, a top-up dialog opens so you can top up on the spot. See Quotas and credits.
