Notification Settings

Citadex has two notification channels: email notifications and in-app notifications. Both are configured in Settings → Notifications.

Email Notification Types

In-App Notifications

In-app notifications appear in the notification bell (🔔) in the TopBar with a red badge showing your unread count. Access your full notification history at /notifications.

Features:

  • Filter by type (Scan / Visibility / Competitor / Report / Plan / System)
  • Mark all as read
  • View by date (Today, Yesterday, older)

Notification Frequency

For email notifications, choose:

  • Immediate — Send as soon as the event occurs (recommended for Alerts)
  • Daily Digest — Batch all notifications into one daily email
  • Weekly Digest — Batch into your weekly report

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I turn off all emails?

You can turn off all optional email types. Billing notifications (payment failures, invoices) cannot be disabled.

Q: How do I mark notifications as read?

Individual notifications are marked read when clicked. Use "Mark all read" to clear all at once from the Notifications page or from Settings → Notifications.
