By accessing or using Citadex ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Citadex is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that provides AI Engine Optimization tools, including brand visibility monitoring across AI platforms, prompt tracking, content scoring, competitor analysis, and related features. The Service is provided on a subscription basis.
You must create an account to use the Service. You agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
Free Trial: New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full plan features.
Paid Plans: After the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription. Plan details and pricing are available at /pricing.
Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, depending on the plan selected.
Payment Processing: Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation:
• Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
• You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods
• Access to paid features will end at the conclusion of the billing period
• Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, after which it may be deleted
You agree not to:
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service to scrape, crawl, or harvest data in an unauthorized manner
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use the Service to transmit spam or malicious content
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including software, text, graphics, and logos — are owned by Citadex and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal business purposes.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of the data you submit to the Service. By submitting data, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
Citadex lets you connect third-party services (such as Google Search Console) to your account. When you connect such a service:
• You authorize Citadex to access the data and perform the actions you approved during the OAuth consent flow
• Your use of the integration is additionally governed by the applicable third party's terms of service and privacy policy (for Google, the Google Terms of Service and Google API Services User Data Policy)
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect any third-party account and to grant Citadex access to the associated data
• You may disconnect an integration at any time from the /integrations page, which revokes Citadex's stored credentials; you may also revoke access directly with the third party
Citadex's handling of data received from Google APIs is described in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy and complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
No warranty regarding third-party platform policies. Many third-party platforms — including social networks, community forums, wikis, and professional networks — enforce strict policies against automated posting, account automation, or content that does not meet their community guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, shadow-banning, rate-limiting, account suspension, or permanent bans. You are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with each third-party platform's terms of service, community rules, and automation policies before using any Citadex feature that interacts with those platforms. Citadex does not guarantee that automated or assisted publishing via its integrations will be accepted by any third-party platform, and Citadex is not liable for any action a third-party platform takes against your account, including but not limited to suspension or termination.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. AI-GENERATED ANALYSIS AND RECOMMENDATIONS ARE PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES AND DO NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AEO DASHBOARD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimer of warranties, and limitation of liability survive termination.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, or if necessary, through binding arbitration.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
