Citadex offers a 7-day free trial so you can evaluate the full product before any charge. The trial is our risk-free evaluation window — if Citadex isn't a fit, cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Once a paid billing period begins, subscriptions are non-refundable except in the specific cases listed below.
All new paid-plan signups receive a 7-day free trial with full plan features. No charge is made during the trial period. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends through your account settings — cancelling during the trial stops the subscription before any charge is processed.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Billing Portal linked from your account settings.
• Monthly subscriptions: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. No partial refunds are issued for unused days in the billing period.
• Annual subscriptions: Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual period. No partial refunds are issued for unused months in the billing period. Plan ahead before selecting annual billing.
Refunds are granted only in the following circumstances:
• Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a payment-processing error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full.
• Service unavailability: If the Service experiences significant downtime (greater than 48 consecutive hours) attributable to issues on our end, you may request a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period.
All other requests fall under the non-refundable situations below.
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:
• Failure to cancel before the 7-day trial ends (the trial IS the evaluation window)
• Any subscription charge after the trial has converted to a paid plan
• Partial use of a billing period (monthly or annual)
• Change of mind after active use of the Service
• Dissatisfaction with AI-generated results (results vary by domain, content, and competitive landscape — the trial exists so you can measure this before committing)
• Forgetting to cancel an auto-renewal

• A description of the issue (duplicate charge, downtime, etc.)
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days depending on your payment provider.
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution. Most issues can be resolved quickly if you reach out to support@citadex.io directly — please give us that opportunity before disputing a charge with your bank.
